How it works

1

Four signals, not one

Pending liquor licences (months ahead), health and building permits (weeks ahead), 80+ local press feeds and a daily web discovery pass by neighbourhood.

2

Deduplicated and researched

Every signal is checked against everything seen before. The ones with substance are researched against the venue's own site, press, Google and Yelp, so "new" means new.

3

One sheet, every Sunday

A filterable page and a CSV per metro. New signals on top, the researched openings with concept, timing, website and Instagram. No login, no app.

Metros

Live today in three. Any US metro with public liquor and permit data can be added in about two weeks; the next ones are chosen by request.

How it compares

The honest version. There are three ways reps find new restaurants today, and each is missing something.

Lead-list column reflects the published offers of Preopening Restaurants Resource, What Now and Restaurant Activity Report as checked on 2026-11-06; licence scrapers are the per-record feeds sold on Apify. Where we are weaker: we do not supply owner phone numbers or personal emails, by choice, and we cover three metros today.

What is in a row

The sheet keeps what the public feed skips. A chain unit, a suburban franchise or a second location is a lead for you even when it is not a story for us.

Operators pick their POS, distributor and insurer during the build-out, months before opening day. The rep who calls first usually gets the account. This is the list of who to call this week.

Questions

Where does the data come from?

Public records (state liquor-licence applications, county health permits, city building permits), published local press, venue websites and public business listings. Business data only. Every row links to its source.

How early is it?

Liquor applications land months before opening; permits and pre-opening inspections weeks before; press usually last. The same system has posted openings on Instagram two weeks ahead of any press coverage.

Do you include chains?

Yes. The public feed skips chain units; the sheet keeps them and says why they were skipped, because a new unit is still a new account for you.

Can I get other metros?

Any US metro with public liquor and permit data can be added in about two weeks. Ask.

Owner contact details?

No. We publish the business, its address, website and social handle, and the licensee name when it is on the public filing. We do not scrape personal emails or phone numbers.
